Product Design Sprint: the core flows, finished

Six weeks on the software itself: an audit against one metric, four to eight core flows designed end to end, and a light design system your engineers will actually use.

Who it's for

Week by week

WhenFocusWhat you see
Week 1Audit, metric, flow mapWe use the product with your users' eyes, agree the one metric this sprint moves (activation, conversion, a support-ticket category), and map the four to eight flows that decide it.
Weeks 2–4The flowsTwo to three flows a week, designed end to end in Figma with states, empty and error cases, and real content. Each reviewed live; each shipped to a prototype the same week.
Week 5Design system and prototypeTokens, components and documentation extracted from the flows — light enough to survive fast iteration. A clickable prototype for user sessions and investor demos.
Week 6Testing, handoff, build supportUsability sessions with five of your users, fixes, developer handoff with named components and written interaction rules. Two weeks of build support follow.

How it runs

Questions

What does the Product Design Sprint cost?

$25,000, fixed. Paid in three milestones: 40% to book, 30% at the end of week 3, 30% at handoff. Our open-scope product design work runs $15,000–45,000; the sprint sits in the middle because the flow count is capped.

Four to eight flows — which ones?

The ones that move the metric we pick in week 1. For most SaaS that's onboarding, the main workspace, one settings or billing path, and the flow where users get stuck today. We'll propose the list in the first week; you sign it off.

Do you work with our engineers directly?

Yes. Handoff is in Figma with tokens and named components, plus written rules for streaming, errors and retries where relevant. Most of our clients ship on Next.js; we design with that in mind and stay on for two weeks after handoff.

Can you start from our existing Figma?

Usually. We keep what works and rebuild what doesn't; a partial system is faster to fix than to replace.

Do you design for AI products?

A lot of our work is: chat and agent interfaces, waiting states, showing uncertainty, editable output. We prototype with real model output, not placeholder text.

What if six weeks isn't enough?

Then it isn't a sprint, and we'll say so on the first call and quote a project from our published range instead. The point of the fixed price is that scope doesn't creep.

Who owns the work?

You do: Figma source, the design system, prototypes and documentation. IP assigns on final payment.

How do you bill, and is there tax on top?

We invoice from India in USD (AUD, GBP or EUR on request). Design services exported from India are zero-rated, so no Indian GST is added. UK, EU and Australian business clients typically account for VAT/GST themselves under the reverse-charge rules; confirm with your accountant. Payment is by wire or Stripe, in milestones.
